Formed by the Kemble family in 2004, we joined forces with Connect Group four years later. Now, after establishing a strategic partnership with iControl, a specialist data management provider in the US, we’ve evolved our offer.
iControl’s data solutions are live in over 50,000 retail sites across the US. We’re harnessing this power to deliver the same innovative, end-to-end efficiency across the UK.
But it’s not in our nature to rest on our laurels. We’re committed to continuous progress. We reinvest significant revenue to keep improving our systems, processes and people. If the retail landscape isn’t going to stand still, neither can we.
Peter KembleManaging Director
A newstrade veteran, Peter has over 25 years of experience and co-founded rascal. He has spearheaded the growth and evolution of the business, from its former wholesaling days to the present, helping it to become a trusted and respected software and service provider to a number of well-known retail brands. Peter is an avid sports fan and relishes all things rugby and ski related.
Charley SouthonIT Director
Charley, our other co-founder, leads rascal’s continuous development. She recognises the unrelenting pressure on retailers to keep innovating, whether that’s through the organic development of existing solutions, or bringing complementary solutions to market. Away from the office, Charley relishes a good physical challenge and has run the London Marathon, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and has a black belt for kickboxing. She’s also a volunteer for the refugee service of the Red Cross.
Jonty EdwardsCommercial Director
With 15 years of commercial experience in grocery retail, Jonty ensures we deliver on customer expectations and service excellence. He does so by engaging with customers, looking to understand their changing needs, and then seeing how rascal’s expanding suite of technology and data solutions can meet them. When not immersed in the retail world, Jonty racks up the miles running, mountain climbing and walking his pet whippet, Luna.
Matt BazleyHead of Sales
Charged with bringing a new suite of retail solutions to the European market, Matt’s experience includes 10 years working with global technology and financial services brands. He’s passionate about helping customers to transform their business by reducing pain points, improving customer journeys, and positively impacting the bottom line. Matt is a huge sports fan but, with the exception of golf, his playing days are mostly behind him.
